This home was featured on the 2012 NARI Tour of Remodeled Homes. A full-home remodel updated this home after some water damage occurred during the storms of September 2010. The owners decided this was the ideal time to not only address the exterior water issues, but to also update the interior. Starting with the exterior, the owners wish list included a way to protect the home from future water damage. The solution was to enlarge the front porch and install concrete retaining walls and French drains to divert the water around the home. Additional exterior work included IPE decking and privacy panels, a new salt finish concrete sidewalk driveway, and to extend the outdoor living space. A new garage door, a custom designed front door, and landscaping completed the exterior work.

The interior scope of work included removing load-bearing walls and opening up the space connecting the living room, dining room, and kitchen. High on their list of must-haves was creating a wine area and laundry room within the conditioned space. We were able to add these spaces by capturing some of the garage space. Another high priority included gutting the kitchen to create a more functional and attractive space. A total re-haul of the master bath created a more contemporary look with high-end finishes and fixtures. New lighting and painting throughout the home completed the interior transformation.
